Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. We want to help alleviate the unneeded stress. We want you to know what you can expect when you visit Destiny. Below are answers to some commonly asked questions.

WHere do you meet

We meet at Regal Avenues (9525 Philips Hwy Jacksonville, Fl 32256). We lease 4 theater rooms where we have our services. When you arrive at the theater on Sunday morning you will see signs directing you to the entrance where you will be greeted by a member of our Guest Services team.

We encourage everyone to come as you are. Most people that come to Destiny dress casually. So you’ll see people in shorts and flip flops, while some prefer a suit and tie. We believe that God cares more about our hearts than what we wear.

Our service starts at 10 AM and ends at 11:30. Most people come around 9:45 to get a cup of coffee and a doughnut, which is free to everyone. If you have children, we recommend coming a few minutes early to allow time to get your kids checked in to Nursery.

Yes, we have a safe and fun environment for your children to learn about God and connect with some amazing teachers and other children. We have nursery for birth through preschool during our entire service. Children in K-5th are dismissed after the band leads us in praise and worship. They will have a blast joining with other children and learning about God through a media driven lesson.

Destiny Church is distinctly Christian in our beliefs and practices, and we hold to the Bible as God’s Word and our guide. But at the heart of what we believe, we believe Jesus is the hope of the world and want to see more of Him in our city, our country and the nations. We are a local church with a global mission. A note from our pastors

It’s such a joy to be a part of what God is doing at Destiny Church. In 2012 we moved our family to Jacksonville with a dream in our hearts. We dreamed of a body of believers who loved Jesus with every ounce of their being, who loved being with one another, and who were fueled with a passion to reach those who don’t know Jesus. Today that dream is a reality. God has already done more than we could have ever possibly imagined, and we believe that He is just getting started.

We are not a perfect church. We are full of imperfect people, but we love Jesus more than life itself, and we love people. These two things fuel all we do. As lead pastors, our purpose is to help others find their purpose, and we believe that purpose is to know God and to make Him known. The core values of Destiny Church are Christ, Community, and Cause. We believe that when we put Christ first, live in Community, and serve His Causes, we find our destiny. We want you to know there is a place for you here at Destiny Church. Our people are some of the most authentic and welcoming people you’ll meet. I can’t wait for you to meet them, and I can’t wait to get to meet you. You belong here!
