What time does Destiny Church meet on Sundays?
We gather every Sunday at 10:00 AM in Jacksonville, Florida. Whether church is part of your weekly rhythm or you haven’t been in years, we’d love to meet you. Plan your first visit.
Where is Destiny Church located?
We meet at Regal Avenues 20, 9525 Philips Highway, Jacksonville, FL 32256. Yes, we meet in a movie theater! It’s a welcoming place to worship, hear God’s Word, and connect with people who care.
What should I wear to church?
Come as you are. Some people dress up, others wear jeans and a T-shirt. You don’t have to impress anybody to walk through our doors.
What is a Sunday service like?
Expect heartfelt worship, practical Bible teaching, prayer, and people who are genuinely glad you’re there. Our goal isn’t to put on a show. It’s to help people encounter Jesus and take their next step with Him.
Do I need to register before attending?
No registration is required. You can simply show up on Sunday. If you want to get familiar with Destiny beforehand, our I’m New page is a great place to start.
Can I come if I haven’t been to church in a long time?
Absolutely. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come. Questions, doubts, and complicated stories are welcome here. We believe God meets people right where they are.

Is Destiny Church family-friendly?
Yes. Destiny is a church for individuals and families in every season of life. We want both you and your children to feel seen, welcomed, and encouraged.
Does Destiny Church have children’s and youth ministries?
Yes. Our Children & Youth ministry is focused on helping the next generation know Jesus and grow in faith. Visit that page for current ministry details.
What if my child is nervous about visiting a new church?
That’s completely understandable. A new place can feel like a big step for kids and parents alike. You’re welcome to ask questions, meet our team, and take things at your family’s pace.

Is Destiny Church a non-denominational church?
Yes. Destiny Church is a non-denominational Christian church in Jacksonville, Florida. We’re not defined by a denominational label. We’re committed to Jesus Christ, the authority of Scripture, and helping people follow Him in everyday life. Read more on Our Core Beliefs page.
Is Destiny Church a Spirit-filled church?
Yes. We believe the Holy Spirit is active in the church today, empowering believers to live for Jesus, grow in spiritual maturity, and serve others. We want to make room for God’s presence while remaining grounded in His Word.
Does Destiny Church believe in healing and spiritual gifts?
Yes. We believe God still heals and that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for the church today. We pray with faith and compassion, trusting God while caring for people with wisdom and love.
What does Destiny Church teach about the Bible?
We believe the Bible is God’s Word and the foundation for what we teach and how we live. Our messages aim to be faithful to Scripture, understandable, and useful when Monday morning comes around.
What does it mean to have a relationship with Jesus?
Following Jesus is more than attending a service or knowing religious language. It’s responding to His grace with faith, trusting His finished work, and learning to walk with Him every day. Wherever you are in that journey, there’s room to take a next step.
