We had our ceremonial groundbreaking this summer. We met on the property and planted our feet on the ground. We declared the place holy. We prophesied to Destiny’s future:
Lord God, out here in the sun and dirt, this feels like a holy moment for Destiny. We are in awe of You and Your goodness. Thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for carrying us and uniting us. For getting us to this place.
We thank You that all the preparation to this point and to the point we get in our building has not been wasted time. Every set up, every tear down, every floor cleaned, divider moved, and cable run has been a seed.
We thank You in advance for the harvest. We thank You in advance for the lives that are going to be changed on this property. The people that will make heaven their home here. We thank You for the babies that will be dedicated to You here. The children that are going to come to know You, know Your love and Your goodness, Your salvation. We thank You for the teenagers that will find purpose here. We thank You for young adults that will find family here. We thank You for the families that will find support. The marriages that will find reconciliation. The grandparents that will watch prodigals come home.
We thank You for the pastors and missionaries that will be raised up. The weddings that will be celebrated here. We thank You for the people that will be fed and clothed here. May this always be a place of healing and freedom and joy and hope.
On this property, You will always be the star. You will always be the honored guest. May You always be the One that people come to see. May people find their destiny here. We thank You for a dream that will outlive all of us. That will echo into future generations. For Your name and Your renown.
