I have three beautiful daughters. They are the apple of my eye. They have been my inspiration and motivation. Watching them become the young ladies they are today has been a joy. There is nothing in life that quite compares to being their mother. Planting a church isn’t neck-n-neck with that, but it crosses the finish not far behind. Destiny feels a little like one of my children. I watched her grow, change, and mature. In my mind, I can see the seasons like lines on a wooden door frame marking her progress. We’ve poured ourselves into her. We’ve sacrificed for her, and we’d do it again. There isn’t anything we’d rather be doing.
Building this permanent location feels like planting a church again but this time with a 200 member team. Destiny’s heart won’t change, but she’s getting a makeover, a new wardrobe if you will. Have I mentioned that I’m really into that kind of stuff. Shopping is one of my talents. Planning is something I do even in my sleep (or better said, when I should be sleeping). Decorating was my aim before ministry. So, I’m in my element right now. Guys, she’s going to be beautiful!
