It’s easy to feel behind.
Like you should be further along.
Like everyone else is producing fruit, and you’re still just trying to stay planted.
But here’s what’s true.
God doesn’t build quickly. He builds deeply.
The deeper the root, the stronger the tree.
The longer the foundation takes, the more weight it can carry.
The more time in preparation, the greater the purpose.
We don’t always see what God is doing below the surface.
But that doesn’t mean He’s not doing anything.
It just means He’s working on something we can’t see yet.
In Galatians 6:9, Paul reminds us,
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Your breakthrough might not be behind you.
It might not be beside you.
It might not be tomorrow either.
But it’s coming — if you stay planted.
So don’t measure your pace by someone else’s.
Don’t compare your behind-the-scenes to someone else’s highlight reel.
Don’t give up when it looks like nothing is happening.
Because roots grow in the dark.
And your roots are getting stronger than you think.
