So, right now our property is in the development stage. That means that we can’t always tell what’s happening. Sometimes those things are underground. Sometimes it looks like it’s at a standstill. Right now, there’s lots of clearing, lots of breaking up old foundations, removing dry dirt, and bringing in fresh soil.
If that doesn’t immediately sound like a description of the last 13 years of Destiny Church, then you probably haven’t been around long. Development can be painful. It can be long and dirty. It feels like waiting. But it is essential to anything that is going to last. The ground must be prepared. The soil has to be broken up. The foundation needs to be strong and properly poured.
We’re building for the full haul. We’re not in a sprint; we’re running a marathon, in it for the long game. Lord, do what needs to be done.
