Sometimes we want the miracle.
Sometimes we expect the breakthrough to come like lightning.
But more often than not, God moves through small steps.
Think about it, David didn’t go from the pasture to the palace in a day.
Joseph didn’t go from the pit to the palace overnight.
Even Jesus grew “in wisdom and stature” (Luke 2:52) before stepping into His public ministry.
In a culture obsessed with instant results, it’s easy to overlook the slow, faithful grind.
But it’s in the small steps that character is formed.
It’s in the daily obedience that trust is built.
And it’s in the mundane moments that miracles begin.
You may not feel like you’re making progress, but here’s the truth:
Small steps in the right direction still lead to powerful destinations.
-
Every time you open your Bible, you’re growing.
-
Every time you choose faith over fear, you’re moving forward.
-
Every time you forgive when it’s hard, you’re stepping into freedom.
Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
Don’t despise the process.
Don’t overlook what God is doing just because it’s not flashy.
Because what seems small now is setting the stage for something far greater.
Keep walking.
Keep planting.
Keep trusting.
God is in your steps—even the small ones
