Nobody likes to wait.
We pray for breakthrough, and we want it now.
We ask for clarity, and we expect instant answers.
But God rarely works on our timeline.
Seasons of waiting feel like silence.
Like delay.
Like something must be wrong.
But here’s the truth:
Waiting isn’t wasted when it’s surrendered to God.
Throughout Scripture, waiting has always been part of the process.
Abraham waited for a son.
Joseph waited in a prison.
David waited to become king.
Even Jesus waited until the right time to begin His ministry.
God isn’t punishing you by making you wait.
He’s preparing you.
He’s developing your character.
He’s shaping your faith.
He’s aligning the right people, places, and timing for your future.
Isaiah 40:31 says,
“But those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Waiting can strengthen you when you stop striving and start trusting.
So if you’re in a season that feels slow or silent,
Remember this:
You’re not being ignored.
You’re being positioned.
And what God is building in you is worth the wait.
