Greetings and welcome to our fourth installment of the series, "Reach". In today's message, Pastor Chris uses two illustrations from the book of 2 Kings that deal with the subject of miracles. And although many in our post-modern civilization have discounted the miraculous, we very much believe that our Lord is still doing and wishes to do much more of the miraculous in our midst. But have we made space for Him to move in our situations? Do you trust Him enough to allow for the possibility of a miracle? This message will encourage both the believer and the skeptic to press in and discover the miraculous power of God.

It's no secret that God has the power to change anything in an instant. The Scriptures, both old and new testaments, are quite clear that God has moved miraculously and changed the circumstances of His people. A lot of the time though, it's us that God wants to change so that we have the power to affect our circumstances and the circumstance of those around us. Pastor Ben Chavez is our guest teacher today, and you will be blessed, encouraged, and empowered by this message of hope, especially if you or someone you know is spiritually "stuck". Have you been encouraged by the messages you've heard here? Let us know! Share your story with us at

Welcome to Destiny Church of Jacksonville and our third installment of the series, "Reach". In the past couple of weeks, we've discussed why it's so important to share our faith with those around us. We've also gone through some of the excuses as to why we don't or won't share. This week, Pastor Chris breaks down the concepts of testimony and witness, words that often strike fear into many Christian hearts because many believers don't understand or believe that they have a testimony worthy of sharing, let alone that they are called to share it with the world. Do you want to have more confidence to understand and tell your God story to others? Then listen in to this timely word!

Have you ever had this happen to you? You're given a task to complete, yet you've not received what you feel might be the proper tools or training to do what's been asked of you. In our day-to-day work or home life, this often might be the case, but as Pastor Chris is fond of saying, "God does not call the qualified, he qualifies the called". And in this installment of our series "Reach", we see Philip living out this very concept. The great news for us is that God does not call us to do something that He does not equip us to! The hard part for most of us is, like Philip, to simply obey and have the faith that God has already worked out all of the details. If you struggle with hearing or obeying those Spirit-led promptings, this message is for you!

Around this time of the season, it's almost unheard of to not know anything about the candidates running for political office. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone of voting age who has not heard at least one candidate's message. Most Americans make the assumption that, just like with politics, everyone has heard of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This couldn't be further from the truth! The truth is, there's a whole generation who have never heard of Jesus and there are a lot of excuses why we don't share the Good News with our friends, family, and coworkers. In the brand new series "Reach", Pastor Chris pulls out all the stops and exposes the excuses that keep us on the sidelines and out of our co-mission with The Holy Spirit. Get ready for some encouragement and real strategies to help you reach out to a hurting and dying world!

Waiting. It seems that our modern life is full of opportunities to wait! Waiting for the perfect job, or the perfect mate. Waiting for our food at a busy restaurant. Waiting for the results of the biopsy or the verdict of the trial. But how do you wait for God? Maybe even more to the point, are you waiting well? This question, posed by our guest teacher and Pastor Jodi Tomlinson, could be one of the most important questions you'll ever be asked. God's Word is full of promises for those who choose to believe and follow; for those who have chosen to wait well. So what are you waiting for?

Thank you for joining us for the latest installment of the series {re}. As always, Pastor Chris brings a word that cuts right to the core of the issues that permeate our post-modern culture. We live in world that values striving and comparison. Most of the time, most of us feel like we don't measure up. We spend a great deal of time and resource to get others to like us and accept us. The great news is that God has already declared His love and plans for us! We don't have to try to earn His approval! We can rest in His acceptance of us, right where we are.

A change of direction, a rethinking of a position, a move away from something and toward something else: All good examples of turning. As Pastor Chris continues in the dynamic series {re}, our attention is focused on sin; how we view it, and why we need to turn from it. It's not a popular subject in our post-modern culture, nor is it always viewed correctly in the Church, but you can rest assured that God has always taken and still takes sin and it's consequences very seriously.

We continue this week in our series {re}, and moving on through the conditional promises of 2 Chronicles 7:14, Pastor Chris is focusing this week on prayer and the powerful Presence of God. As we look at the condition of our world, it's easy to see that we are in desperate need of a revival, and as we have seen in the past, it starts with God's people praying and interceding and carrying the Presence of God into their everyday situations. Prayer is powerful! It moves Heaven on our behalf and moves us closer to the destiny-changing power of God. Are you in?

2 Chronicles 7:14 is often quoted, tweeted, and posted on social media as the go-to verse when our nation is visibly in distress. It's a powerful set of promises to be sure, but there are conditions as well. In this fourth installment of the {re} series, Pastor Chris focuses on the first condition of humility by giving us a snapshot of what true humility looks like and what it can do in our personal lives as well as the life of our nation and world. So please join us as we study this very relevant and timely subject.
